Weekly Reset #1 Patch 8.1.5

Hello everyone, while the servers were down today, I was thinking about another blog topic, and that is "Weekly Reset". As of right now I'll just post what gear I got from the weekly chest and maybe get what's on my mind onto paper. For now, I'll wait for the servers to come up, then I'll post my loot and maybe give a blurb on what I'm feeling like in WoW.

As of right now, I'm going to watch my favorite streamer "OneAzerothTV's" stream and wait for the servers to come back online
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X6PeQpoQNYg

Well after an hour and a half of watching the stream and doing house chores. The servers are up! See hard work does pay off after all!

Druid Mythic+ Cache
The first toon were going to start with is my Druid. Last week I got some huge progress done on my druid. I'm 2/2 normal on CoS, 1/9 mythic in BOD and got them Battle for Azeroth Keystone Conqueror: Season Two! Mythic+ wise it was a very easy week. Necrotic was little to no challenge and being a druid I was able to soothe off the enrage. So it was a super easy week.  This week seems to offer no challenge either. Next week I'll be able to get a 415 azerite item. The highest key I did on my druid was a +13

Paladin Mythic+ Cache
Next on the list is my Paladin. Sadly the highest key I did on him was a +8. As you can tell, nothing great. I didn't really plan on playing my paladin until the last moment before I got off last night with my best friend. I have no real plans to play him this week, but I'm happy I got something.

Death Knight Mythic+ Cache
Going down the list, it is my Death Knight. Again with my paladin I had no real plans to play my Death Knight and only did a +4 on them. The only reason why I played my Death Knight was that I wanted to try frost Death Knight. I didn't like it, and oh boy look what I got for my Death Knight. Legit the best trinket from them in the entire game. For randomly playing my Death Knight, I think it was worth it.

And lastly! MY WARRIOR! Yeah... I don't really play my warrior often but one night... I got ummm board. I have zero plans to do anything else with my warrior ever again. Not really a class I enjoy playing, but here is his gear. I did a +4 on him.

Well that was all the gear I got on all the toons I played this week. As of right now, I have no plans in-game wise, but I do have some ideas for the blog in terms of re-design in topics.

Patch 8.2 and Minor Blog update!

As you can maybe tell, I did some very minor blog clean up. Changed the background(Not 100% sure if I like it) and created a new header image. The header image was very easy to create. All I did was create a boosted 110 druid, made them look exactly like the druid I have right now put a sick tmog on them and did the starting quest for the Heart of Azeroth. Then I imported the picture into Gimp added some text and bam. An okay header. I might change it. I also as you can see added a new background. I'm also okay with this and might change it later one, but I want to add a more 8.2ish vibe to my blog. You know with 8.2 hopefully coming out early this summer

I also want to do some of my own research on 8.2 and share it with you guys, cause, to be honest. I know nothing about 8.2. So now its my chance to do some real research. Again this is going to be my research and what I found. If you have anything to add, please add it in the comments.

Recently I have also noticed a large flux of people coming in and reading my post. That's awesome. When I first created this blog I made an FAQ. I'll post it here and I plan to create a new FAQ here in near future.

Alt Weekend #1 June 8th-June 10th

As the title says. Its an alt weekend. Ha just kidding. I'm getting my Restro Druid to 1k io this weekend. Look how close I am.
Last night I had the craziest Underrot run with my best friend. The key wasn't going great, we had a few wipes here and there and it looked like we were going to fail it. WRONG!! Look at this! --------> 0.00.236 secs left on the clock. That is crazy!

On the side notes of alts (or main note cause its alt weekend /Shrug), I will be playing my Demon Hunter. My best friend wants to get there Death Knight to 120 before Monday, so I will be getting my Demon Hunter tank to 120 with her.

Other then that, I don't have any crazy ideas for alts. I was thinking about playing my Holy Preist and maybe raiding with them, but I don't know. We will see on tomorrows post.

Alt Weekend #3 May 31st-June 3rd

Another day and another alt day... well. It didn't go out as planned. Instead of playing any of the alts I planned to play today... I raided. On my druid. On the bright side, I'm 3/9 heroic on my druid.
I still have one more day before the reset on Tuesday and I want to say "I VOW TO REACH MY GOALS ON THESE TOONS!" butttt, I have classes on Monday from 1:30pm to 9:30pm... so I might not even get close.

On the bright side, I did one dungeon on my Death Knight and got zero upgrades from it! It was a +3 Shrine of the Storm and well... we made some mistakes... well I made some mistakes, but we got it done, and now there heart is at level 36 item level 405!

My Lightforged Hunter got to level 37 because of some cool guys in a dungeon I found. We did a few dungeons before I got board

For my Horde Monk and my Ally Demon Hunter... I didn't play either. I might play one of them after writing this, but I'm not sure if I have the time because I have early classes tomorrow, but we will see. This reset I'm planning to do some hardcore key grinding on my Druid and do some more raiding on them, for my monk. I still need to re-learn him and get back into the brewmaster ways.

Alt Weekend #2 May 31st-June 3rd

Well... like I said. Some goals changed. I barely touched my Demon Hunter and haven't touched my Horde monk at all, BUT. I created a Lightforged Draenei Hunter. Yes, yes. I know I already have a Hunter at max level, but I bet you weren't expecting a Lightforge Hunter now did ya. No for real. I wanted to level a Lightforged Draenei for some time now, but now it's my chance to level one up.

My goals for my Demon Hunter and Horde Monk is still there, but I have reduced them. Now my goal is to get my Demon Hunter to at least 113 and my Horde monk to level 45 and get my new Lightforged Draenei Hunter to level 45-50ish.

I did meet one goal last night and that was to get a Siege of Boralus mythic+ dungeon done on my druid. and I did that. They now have an IO of 611.

I still have not touched my Death Knight either yet... so I may have too many goals. We'll see!

Alt Weekend #1 May 31st-June 3rd

Where did Google go? All well... Got some plans this weekend focusing on alts. First let's mention what my alts are and what my mains are. As of right now, my mains are:

Angsonie 413 Brewmaster Monk
https://raider.io/characters/us/stormrage/Angsonie

Hctib 392 Restro Druid
https://raider.io/characters/us/stormrage/Hctib

My goal for this weekend is to get my druid a mythic+ Siege of Boralus and upgrade there raider.io score a little bit more.
For my monk, my goal is to re-learn my brewmaster monk because I have not played him in such a long time.

My main goal this weekend is my alts. I have a lot of alts. Below are all of my alts.
As you can tell... I have a lot of alts, but I want to focus on a select few. My first focus is going to be my Blood Death Knight
Marmelia 382 Blood Death Knight
https://raider.io/characters/us/stormrage/Marmelia

My goal for my Blood Death Knight is get them to at least 395, upgrade their Heart of Azeroth to level 40 and get them an upgraded Lingering Sporespods and Rezan's Eye. The pods being 395 and the Eye being 375. Overall, get them better gear and upgraded heart.

My next two goals are on toons that are not yet 120. Goal number one is to get my Demon Hunter Tank to 115 and get my Horde Brewmaster monk to at least level 60.

I'll most likey have more goals ill end up adding in tomorrows post but, for now this is a good start.

The spring semester is over and I have two full weeks off to do anything I want before my summer semester starts. After the summer semester, I am free at last... until I have to find a real job... Anyhow regardless of that, I have made of a checklist of things I want to start doing again this summer and more into the future. Working on this blog is one of them! I have an entire list of ideas and topics I would like to touch upon and write about. Below are some of the topics I would like to discuss

1. New main/Role-Monk Tank/Druid Healer
2. 8.2- Biggest patch ever!?
3. Battle for Daza'alor review
4. Uldir Review(Late?)
5. Battle for Azeroth review(Thus far)

I have much more on this white lined paper in front of me, but as for now, those are the major desirable topics I would like to write on. If you have any more you would like me to write on, please post below.

I really hope to get back into blogging and blogging WoW, and hopefully, these next two weeks will allow me the time and energy to get back into it!

Patch 8.1.5 HYPE/Checklist

Hey all. Sorry about the lack of posts recently. #school has been taking up all of my time. Wonderful. Anyway, patch 8.1.5 is out as you could properly tell if you have ever logged into the game recently. With patch 8.1.5 being out a brand new checklist is out!

1. Tools of the trade questline
Patch 8.1.5 released a new tool of the trade questline. "All of the non-gathering professions (Alchemy, Blacksmithing, Enchanting, Engineering, Inscription, Jewelcrafting, Leatherworking, and Tailoring) have a Tools of the Trade questline. To start the quest, you must be level 120 with 150 skill points in the BFA-tier of that profession(Perculia)". This means if you have any of the professions listed above and 150 skill points in them you can go to your profession trainer and start the quest to learn this new item. As an alchemist, I get the Silas' Sphere of Transmutation. It's kinda lackluster and only good potion you can get from it is Silas' Vial of Continuous Curing which allows you to have a never-ending pot of health potions but, the other three transmutions are bad and just plain useless. Check out what your profession has to offer!

2. Unlock Kul Tiran humans and Zandalari Trolls
Patch 8.1.5 has finally released Kul Tiran humans (KT) and Zandalari Trolls(Trolls). Both races require you to have both of the war campaign up to patch 8.1 to be done and be exalted with Proudmoore Admiralty and the Zandalari Empire. This isn't hard to do but once you do the fore mention requirements you can go to each faction representative and start the questline to unlock each race. Once you unlock both KT humans and the Trolls you can create a level 20 one and work your way to 110 to unlock their heritage armor. KT humans can be every class expect Paladin and Death knight while Trolls can be every class expect Death Knights. Both races have amazing druid forms that I will post below.
KT Human Druid Form

KT Human heritage Armor

Zan Trolls Druid Form

3.Learn the new raid coming out
The title, look up the new raid and read up on the new raid. Its a very small two boss raid but is very very unique in the bosses and what drops from each boss. it is 100% worth checking the raid out.

Other than the three things listed above there isn't really anything you need to get done. There was a lot of things added in patch 8.1.5 and I will link an amazing Wowhead guide you guys can read HERE

Time Constants

Man do I really want to start posing on this blog more often. Sadly due to real life work, I'm having trouble fitting in time to sit down and just write. This week is going to be an easy week due to next week being spring break so I'm going to have more time to write and more time to play some WoW! So keep an eye out for some more blog post. I have a few in mind I want to get to work on ASAP!

How to be useful beyond your role in raids

Season two begins 1/22/19. With season two brings the brand new raid: Battle for Dazar'alor. With this new upcoming raid its time to start thinking about what you can bring to your raid beyond your role.

If you're in a guild like I am, most likely you will have access to guild benefits. What are these guild benefits? You might be thinking of like faster mount speed or mobile banking. Nope. I'm talking about them bringing flask and food for the raid. If your guild brings that. Awesome, but that doesn't mean you don't have to help anymore. If you have a gathering profession like Herbalism or Skinning, go farm. Most guilds are going to have one or two people (most likely your officers) who will have level 3 Cooking or Alchemy. That means the things they make will have a chance to create more than of itself. That means if you create one flask you have a chance to get 3 or 4 flasks for the same amount of materials that it would cost you to create one. This means if you can donate as many materials as you can to the guild to allow these people to create flask and food the better. This is a win for both your guild and you. The guild can use the items you donate to create flasks for people and you don't have to worry about leveling up your profession to create these items. You also don't have to worry about farming a lot of materials to get these items. If you have a good guild who is willing to work together to get these benefits you will have a lot of people donating and you have a lot of materials to work with and you won't have to farm for hours on end, because your guild will be there for you in the end.

If you are not in a guild for a multitude of reasons if that is you don't have a reliable raid/work schedule or if you prefer to solo queue and pug groups, there are still ways to be useful (and some of these will apply to guilds). First thing is your class. What class are you playing right now? Each class and spec brings something unique and helpful to the raid. Are you a Hunter with a lust pet or a Shaman? Great! You bring heroism! Heroism is a lust that give your entire raid/party 30% haste for 40 seconds. This reduces the global cooldowns on all of their abilities and allows them to pump out more damage. Does your group not have a Shaman and or Hunter. No worries! If you have the leatherworking profession you can create Drums of the Maelstorm. This works almost just like a Hunter or Shaman lust but instead of giving the raid/party a 30% haste it only gives the team 25% haste, but that is still is a lot of haste! Other classes bring useful tools like lust also. If you are a Druid or a Death Knight you bring battle rez. This allows you to revive fallen teammates mid-combat. If you are a warrior you bring Battle Shout which increases the attack power of all teammates in raid/groups. If you are a ret paladin you bring a blessing you can put on a healer that allows them to generate some mana. If you are a monk you bring a 5% increase physical damage buff(This dosn't stack). Your class can bring a lot to the team without having to create flask or food.

Another useful thing you can do is create a Mystical Cauldron or feast for your team. I rarely see people do this anymore in pug groups, but if you can! You are helping everyone in the raid team progress and down bosses. If you can't create these items, just bringing your own food or flask can be benefical for everyone.

Other than the things listed above just know your class. Just knowing your class in and out allows you to heal more damage, deal more damage and mitigate more damage. Just not dying is the most useful thing in the raid.

Thanks for reading! These have been my tips on what you can do to be more useful within your raid then just performing your role! If you have any more tips, please feel free to write in the comments!

SEASON TWO BEGINS TOMORROW!!!!

Read up on my checklist of what to do before season one starts
https://wowtwocents.blogspot.com/2019/01/end-of-season-1-bfa-checklist.html
Most of these will be 100% easier when season two begins and the game goes full catch up mode to allow people to gear up for the new raid. Mythic+ dungeons end of the dungeon chest and end of the week chest are scaling up while at the time making Mythic+ dungeons a lot harder at higher keys. This week if you finish a ten you should see a 385 piece in your chest, but you will also notice you got a 6 or 7 key. This is because now for finishing a 7 in season two you get a 385 piece so everything scales down and scales up.

If you haven't already watch up on some FatBossTV guides videos. He has released all of the videos and they all are high-quality great watches.

Also, my Spring 2019 classes start tomorrow too :(.

End of Season 1 BFA Checklist

Season one of BFA is now coming to an end. Uldir is closing down and now we have another great raid coming. While we are waiting for the new raid and season two to kick off. Here are some things you should have done before the start of season two on your main.

1. Get your heart of Azeroth to level 34+
With the release of season two all season two Azerite gear will get an extra ring of Azerite power. To get any real benefit of the extra ring of the Azerite gear you need to have at least a heart of Azeroth level of 34. Without it, you will be running season two content under geared. This and step two should be your #1 priorities. To level up your heart of Azeroth you can grind out a crap ton of Island Expeditions to quickly level up your heart of Azeroth and have a chance to get sick mounts or some cool pets, or you can easily do some Emissaries and level up your heart of Azeroth that way. Either way having a heart of Azeroth below 34 will make most Azerite gear useless.

2.GEAR UP!!!!!!!!!
For real! GEAR UP! Normal Battle for Dazalor drops 385+ gear. You should at least be 380 or the bare minimum of 375. Having gear below this for a DPS is not ideal but you should be 375. If you plan to heal or tank. You really need to get your ass to 380. If not, you will not survive many boss fights and the healers will be pissed off by how much they have to heal you. Just "getting gear" is not as easy as it sounds but there are many ways to get gear in BFA. Especially now since Blizzard is just handing out 370+ gear out like candy you can do.

First thing is to check your daily quest and check your emissaries. Based off of your current item level you can get an easy 370+ piece of gear for just doing the four daily quest. These emissaries scale based off of your current item level. So if you are close to 370 you will have a chance of getting 370+ gear, but if your item level 355 your emissaires will only drop 355+ gear. So do your daily quest and work up your item level to get your sick 370+ gear

Another easy and fast way to get 380+ gear is to do the warfronts as soon as they open. The brand new darkshore warfront that came out in 8.1 drops 380+ gear from doing the quest when it opens. It is an easy and fast way to slowly gear up

The last but hardest way is to spam Mythic+ dungeons and do Normal and Heroic Uldir. Because of how WoW works today with warforging and titanforging Normal Uldir can still give you a sick item level upgrade. If you are already locked out for Uldir or burnt out from Uldir you can spam Mythic+ dungeons. Mythic+ dungeons are like challenge mode from Mist of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor but reward better gear based off of the level key you do. If you get a ten done for the week, you will get a fat 380+ gear out of your weekly mythic+ chest but remember, Mythic+ no longer drops Azerite gear in end of dungeon chest or in the weekly chest anymore. You now get Titan Resdiumm. This is a new currency added in 8.1 that allows you to buy dungeon Azerite gear. Based off of the way Blizzard has made the system work, you can get a new max item level Azerite gear by completing 4-5 10 keys each week. That means from 4 to 5 weeks you must have a ten done each week to get the max reward of Titan Resdiumm to get a sick piece of 400+ item level loot when season two drops. Raiding will always be more efficient if you can down the bosses then spamming Mythic+ dungeons.

3.Study up for the new raid tier
As simple as that. Make sure you know each and every single boss in and out. Wipes will happen, but make sure the wipe doesn't happen because you had no idea what the hell was going on

4. Do the War Campaign
Do it. The lore is great

Season two of BFA is going to be great, but it is going to be super great if you can get the War Campaign done and get your item levela to at least 375+ and heart of Azeroth to 34+. Other then that please add more suggestions in the comment box below!
